When I craft my work, it has always been vital to me to focus on color and feeling. As a kid I focused a lot on animals and imagination, and I find myself carrying those same values into my work today. I always try to create vibrant, dynamic images that can reflect the color and beauty I know can be present in our world. Be it characters work, magazines, books, or personal projects, I bring in the whimsy, vibrance, and wonder present in the plants and animals that make up the natural world and expand on those inspirations to create lasting connections with people. I have a special place in my heart for organic compositions involving plants and animals, but you won’t see me shy away from human beings and human experiences, which ultimately shape my creative inspiration and my work overall. I try to bring my passion for conservation and love for animals to every project I am lucky enough to be a part of.
